Lace the Shoes is an engaging and practical activity that helps children develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and early independent living skills. Using red cotton laces and wooden shoe templates, children can either follow example cards or create their own lacing designs, threading the laces in different directions left, right, up, and down.
This not only strengthens hand control but also teaches children to navigate spatial directions, a key developmental skill.Once the lace is threaded, children can practice the essential task of tying the laces into a bow, helping them build confidence and competence in this real-life skill.
Ideal for home, classroom, or therapy settings, Lace the Shoes combines hands-on learning with real-world relevance, preparing children for everyday tasks like tying shoelaces and fostering independence. Ages 3yrs+.
